I’m sitting at my desk, looking out at the newly bare branches outside my window. Red and yellow leaves are scattered on the pavement below, and beside me is a hot mug of my favorite vanilla chai tea, creating a sweet-and-spicy aromatic experience in my home office.
As we transition deeper through the Fall season (especially here in New England), the days are noticeably shorter and darker. Hot mugs of tea, soft scarves, and fuzzy socks are a daily part of my life these days, creating a cozy feeling of warmth within my body and soul.
I feel the pull to turn inward – to take a long, tranquil nap and re-set for the Springtime. Sorta like a hibernating bear in their undisturbed den….
That’s why I created a new yoga/meditation offering for you this December:
A Masterclass of Deeply Restful Practices
If you feel the need to deeply rest, relax, and reset your energy (especially to get through the busy holiday season), I invite you to join me for a 2-hour mini-retreat (in-person in Quincy, Massachusetts, or virtually online) on Saturday, December 9.
Whether in-studio or online, you’ll experience gentle slow-flow movements and soothing breathwork, restorative practices with lots of easeful support, and a Yoga Nidra meditation to deeply soothe your soul. Attendees will also receive a Yoga Nidra meditation recording after the masterclass as my gift for the winter season. I hope to see you on December 9!
